My system was delivered Friday evening, and I finished installing it yesterday. Everything fit like a glove. Great workmanship on FI products and superb customer service! Having no experience with this type of removal and re-installation, I called Tony twice. He steered me in the right direction, and I was able to easily overcome the obstacles with my stock cats. For those who are on the fence in choosing an exhaust system, FI is second to none. The sound is nothing less than awesome!

I am pleased to hear that all is well that ends well! First UPS and that debacle, and then the demon bolt. I am just glad that we were able to connect over the phone and get it all squared away. Thank you for the support and feedback. Tony |

Thank you for your excellent business practices and customer service! |
I'm curious. Percentage wise, which sizes FI sell the most? The 12", 18" or non-resonated?
I'm assuming it's 18" |
Hey G, thought you had your mind all made up?

Confirmed my change with Tony, I changed from 12" resonators to NON resonated and of course I had ordered the C.F cans, Tony said my should be shipping out a week from this coming Friday. :happydance:

Got my exhaust installed at the F.I. shop today and it is simply AMAZING! Tony himself did the whole installation and did an excellent job on it. I need an excuse to drive my car now. I went with non-res and it's music to my ears. Thank you for such wonderful and excellent service Tony! You'll definitely hear from me again!!

I said f*ck it! I just switched my order from 12" reson to non-resonated carbon fiber.
Non-resonated sounds wayyyyy too clean. I guess I just gotta drive it at low revs to avoid attention. 14 more days!! |

Well, the day has finally come: I scraped my exhaust :icon14:
It's a gen 1 I picked up used, but the previous owner had never scraped. I'm not lowered, but I cam across a line of bricks calling itself a speed bump. I was fine going up onto it, but the drop off coming down off of it was too much. :owned: Fortunately it's only on the front of the mufflers so you can't see it from the rear. I hadn't had any other problems with speed bumps or driveways in about 3 months of driving. Still, I should've been more aware and maybe tried to hit that plateau at an angle. |
Even at stock height and stock exhaust I'd always go at an angle, doesn't work every time but it helps. You should be fine as long as it didn't make a hole in the muffler(s) you'll be good to go.
