Does anyone know how loud this exhaust with 18" resonators is compared to the stock exhaust with AAM short tails? I have the S-line tails right now and while they are nice they are a bit loud and I want something a bit quieter.

Here is a question Tony. I'm still debating changing my exhaust. I have PPE headers, they rasp like crazy, and I have gotten it tamed. Assuming these rasp as bad as test pipes, would 12" resonators be enough (with or w/o HFC option), or would 18" resonators be the safer bet? I would call, but location is not very permitting (AFG COP).

D.

Your exhaust shipped back on 2/13. UPS is supposed to electronically email you with the tracking number. Roughly 33% of the time it does not happen. Your tracking number says that your exhaust will be delivered by the end of the day tomorrow.

I will pm you your tracking number now.

Thanks, Tony

Thank you Tony. I called and left a message as well but that answers my question. This time I did not recieve a notification from UPS so thought I would ask.

What's better than one Fast Intentions exhaust? Two Fast Intentions exhausts! :happydance:

good day tony. . . I pm'ed you a day ago, I don't know if I sent it right or not. if not I can ask you again..

. I just wanted to ask, where is your shop located? I am just trying to see what is best, weather to get them shipped to 92114 san diego, or drive to your shop and get them installed there. Also, do you charge for the installation?

I have the F.I. headers paired with the 18" resonators and SS cans and can say that it quiets down the potential rasp (even though I don't hear any). The cruising volume is a decent level and you don't have to talk Over the exhaust to someone else in the car. But when you want to get on it, it will be there to roar for you.

Their shop is in Simi Valley. About a 2.5 hour drive depending where in SD. Tony will have to chime in on the installation topic.

Thanks for the update. I know if I opt for the HFC's, it will be quieter than w/o. So to compensate, I was thinking maybe 12" Appreciate the info. I was looking for a sound clip of 12" resonators and TP's, but maybe I suck and couldn't find it. They rasp similar to PPE's, so I thought it would be a good indicator.

Haven't visited here in awhile, having too much fun driving around with #641 - 18" res + CF cans!
