Do you have test pipes or hfc's? I'm expecting it to be pretty loud w/ non-resonated test pipes...

My exhaust is stock with the exception of the short tails. At idle its a mellow low grumble/ gurgle. cruising is quiet. WOT is insane!. TP's or HFC's would be wild! The drone is at 4-4.5k rpm, but honestly isn't that bad. You can still hear stereo or have a conversation fine. After about 500 miles it settles down and sounds even better.

 Very nice. I'll post a few vids after installation.

I am thinking of slapping in an ebay y-pipe or maybe a custom fab x-pipe instead of TP's or HFC's. Cheaper and easier install and close enough gains... I have enough sound, just want more flow without being illegal in any state. I should post pics or a vid but i am lazy and there are plenty around the forum/ net anyways.

Motordyne XYZ pipe, proven best merge point for optimum torque and power.

a bastardized, frankenstein style exhaust would be what I was dreaming up one day; install test pipes, ebay y pipe, then aam short tails. essentially a full exhaust, minus the midpipe.

You'd have to go all the way and remove the resonators from the mid-pipes.

At that point I'd probably have spent enough for a proper system, even!
