You're probably OK with that setup, since the headers are stock, and its still catted. If you want to get Max performance and be safe than it wouldn't hurt To get a tune.

Haha. As long as all the breathing mods are done then you're ready. If you'd like to upgrade flywheels, pulleys , or anything like that for more power it won't require another tune because they don't have anything to do with air. If you plan to do headers or an intake plenum then you'll want to wait. Other than that just find a reputable shop and get it done.

I've read mixed reviews about the Motordyne manifold. Some people report that they didn't get any gains from it, and some people actually lost torque in the midrange by a fair amount, just to gain 2-3 hp at the very top end. Make sure you do your research before you pull the trigger. If you're gonna get it, then I would wait like Footloose said. Otherwise, you don't NEED a tune, but you can definitely benefit from it.

I have

ebay y-pipe and a muffler with manual closing/opening valve system.

Id like to throw my exoticspeed hfc on my 2010 Z, but 2/3 german tuner say the Z will drive too lean and the ECU will not comensate enough the new mod!

Whats right now?!

Get an uprev tune! Your car won't run lean to the point that it will damage anything, but a tune will make it run so much better
