Yes, definitely feel more torque too. I'm waiting to dyno after i get the CBE and HFC (mostly so I'm not disappointed in the dropoff as each mod is added).

Ive had these on my nismo for a couple months. Got them through b2autodesigns vendor here on the forums. Install is easy....but the instructions that come with the intakes are crap. Haha use the diy gen3 instructions from the forums....same exact instructions minus the cutting and filter location. Love the intakes!

does this intake require a tune? Or should I just get a tune since my car has other breathing mods (hfcs, cbe)?

Technically not necessary but would be beneficial to maximize potential gains.

yeah, the supplied instructions unfortunately leaves out a few key details.. most notably being the removal of the plastic pieces in the radiator passthrough where the stock air boxes connected to. Fortunately, having read this entire thread previously, I was already aware that these had to be removed.

I finished my install on Sunday. I went from a post maf setup to the Takeda....wow. I was preparing to not feel much, but there is alot more torque. The engine breathes alot better too. Highly recommended!

I went to the link where these are being sold and did not see anything about it being carb legal. Does anybody know if they are? These are Greddy replica cai so that adds to the greatness since they are linked up company's now.

There is a partnership but these are not Greddy replicas. aFe has been making these things for a while now and Greddy partnered with aFe to make the same with the Greddy name on it. You should call aFe to address your concern whether it is carb legal or not.

Thanks for the 411. Ya im going to call tomorrow but i dont think they are. Do to you have them your in california and stated nothing about a carb sticker.

aFe's Website is pretty lame. Does not have information unlike AEM's. At AEM, they address the CARB issue and explains that their intakes are not subject to CARB so they say and explains the workaround. I am thinking aFe does the same but I could be wrong.
