Thanks, I talked with Mark at GTHaus and he informed me that the Mid-Pipe section was a 3.0" (76mm). I'm sure the Y-Pipe goes from dual 2.5" inlets to the 3.0" outlet.

Oh ok cool. I figure 2.5'', but thanks for verifying the diameter.

The pipe diameter is:

Dual 60mm (Y-Pipe) -> 76mm Flange (Joint) -> Dual 60mm (Mid-Pipe).

I apologize if there was any confusion here.

Please get an H pipe. Thats what I went with because I wanted to retain the true dual setup of the Nismo. AAM makes a Hpipe/Midpipe that bolts right up to the Axelback. Ill let you in on a little secret. Hpipe evens out the flow causing there to be no hiss upon releasing the gas.

Here's a video. Second video skip to 6:49

JJOHNNYCY200--have you dyno'd your car with that exhaust set up?

I currently have the hks but have been debating on switching over to something that sounds a bit more brutal. However I am curious on hp/tq numbers

Very interesting. I appreciate you sharing this info with us. Could you take a pic of the exhaust tips? I will have to call them to see what they will charge for the two 130 mm tips.

For titanium tips they want $1000 and that's extremely frustrating and makes me not wanna do business with them.

Actually the stainless steel 130mm tips are $998 and the titanium 130mm tips are $1,998 plus shipping. I was wanting to get the stainless steel 130mm tips and I was thinking $400-$600 (max), but a $1k is a bit steep for just the tips. I'm thinking about it, but there is a month wait since the batch has already went out.

We'll the website needs to change the price then because it's showing 1k

I just got the 130MM tips for my G37 also. Installing this week :) They are MASSIVE!

Seoul3 07-04-2014 12:42 PM

Just curious what is the difference between the Stock GThaus version and the Nismo version other than the price? I wouldn't imagine there are installation/fitment differences?

ZKraken22 07-04-2014 05:49 PM

I've been wanting to know what the DB level is
For this system.

RBfastback 07-04-2014 07:48 PM

how do I go about getting that?
any particular rpm range?

Armytrix system is showing 111.00 DB and doesn't seem like this rev'ed to high. Maybe 5,000 rpm max. Wondering witch is louder

RBfastback 07-05-2014 11:01 AM

I'll see if I can borrow a Decibel meter with microphone for someone.

it's not to loud if ur just driving normal without hard excel and keeping it around 2.5-3k rpm when shifting
but once u give it gas or go above that it is very loud.
also if u redline or even get close it's pretty painful if anyone is outside around u lol

We'll I want the loudest lol I don't want nasty loud though. Want orgasm loud. That's why I'm trying to figure out which is loudest.

RBfastback 07-05-2014 03:07 PM

all honesty I was skeptical at first because it is very loud but... it is PERFECT if ur looking for an elegantly sexy loud sound, the notes when down shifting and revving are more then loud, it's smooth and remind me slightly of a street bike in higher rpm and in low rpm like a high end deep throaty v8.

that's interesting, I think that's the first dyno with nothing else but the exaust.

Facebook page says it's only the rear section. Video doesn't seem to load either :(

Sounds good. Looks like I'll pick up the rest of the exhaust. Was scared of it being way too loud but having the axle back it doesnt seem so bad. Cars auto also so I tend to be under 4k rpms.
