Default Gaskets for HFC's - Reuse, or which new ones?

I'm about to install some HFC's on my car next week, and I am wondering - can I just reuse the old ones (Car is brand new, but I probably would feel safer with new ones), or should I get new ones? If they are new, is the OEM good enough, or should I get them elsewhere?

Most HFC's come with new bolts and gaskets. What HFC's are you getting?

My local exhaust shop carries generic gaskets - I never reuse old gaskets as they eventually "blow" and it is a real PITA

Yep, sometimes you can not afford to be cheap. Change the gaskets & know that it was done right instead of wasting your time only to find leaks later.

Do it right or do it again, the choice is yours.

I agree. I learned it once.

Bought some Berks used from a forum member.

So, would the gaskets from the dealership be good enough? I'm assuming they may have some in stock, so I can just run out and get them on the fly. Otherwise, I'll probably order them somewhere.

I wouldn't buy anything from the dealer. Just go to any exhaust shop

You can buy the BERK gaskets direct from them online...other vendors also sell them. I assume you're talking about the UPSTREAM gaskets (3 hole). The other gasket (the Y pipe gaskets 2 hole) you can get from Berk also..or just use OEM (very good!) gaskets and order from Courtesy Nissan.
