sorry to be a noob, but most other exhausts i've seen don't have a Y-pipe option and are all cat back. what's the go with the Y-pipe? where is this

sorry to be a noob, but most other exhausts i've seen don't have a Y-pipe option and are all cat back.
what's the go with the Y-pipe? where is this part located? is this in-front or behind the cats? I was looking for an exhaust to go from catback and was going to replace cat's with high flow units. |
