This is a really nice CAI. AFE is no newcomer when it comes to building intake systems that make power! They have a really good R&D department... Not just saying this because we offer the product. But, just trying to give solid input.
The surface area of the filter has been carefully calculated by their engineers. They have a forced induction kit for the BMW 335 that we have experience with that really delivers the goods. it also runs a single filter and has 2 turbos sucking from it! This being a NA system, It wont have nearly the same amount of vacuum pulling and even then. The air get's drawn in from the opening in the pipes. It won't pull air from the other side. This actually creates a stronger vacuum. Because, you now have to pipes sucking in to one larger filter. It's not a small filter btw either guys. The location of the filter is right behind the grill. That's ice cold air baby! 12+rwhp is no joke for just an intake. Hope this helps! Just my 2 cents... Will |
