You still gotta take it for a spin bro.

Probably slower and not as loud as your car, but you can still hear the difference from the intakes.

It sounded AWESOME today, I wasn't expecting that for sure

Anyone have a dyno for this? ive been curious for a while...

I took my car to Uprev for a tune. First with just the F.I. LTH and F.I. CBE and got 301hp/246tq then with the car still on the dyno I installed the G3's and got 310hp/252tq.

That's pretty good, especially after already having the FI LTH+CBE.

yeah, pretty good... I would honestly have guessed more with your set-up, but all dynos are different, temperatures, etc, etc.

Would/did anyone get a tune after just the gen3? Or would it be better to wait until you got more mods?

It would be a waste of money to get a tune with just intakes... this car seems to respond very well to mods. I am going to get all the NA power mods and then get the car tuned myself. It's not cheap to get a tune so I want to make it count.

This is what I'm doing as well.

Intake - Needed (Have K&N's and MAF tubes right now, waiting for full intake)
Pulleys - Check
Oil Cooler - Check
Headers - Check
Exhaust - Check

Last mod needed before tune.

Yeah, I need to get an oil cooler, but since I don't track the car, i'm not going to worry to much about it right now... just getting on the car here and there is fine for me... when I can afford it i'll go with the Z1 25 row cooler.

310 is after installing intake and Uprev tune? Or 310 is after intake, no tune?

In my opinion as well as others, I would get the car tuned after installing G3 intakes. When I had my car tuned, the stock tune with G3s would run leaner than I am comfortable with and there was also some detonation which is something others have experienced as well.

After the tune, my A/F ratio was nice and safe across the board, the car ran smoother and I picked up another 5whp.

Actually it was 310 for both. Without the tune it hit 310 but the A/F was way lean. After the tune it was 310 but the A/F was back where it was supposed to be. So the tune didnt give me anymore hp but did make the A/F safe and made the car run MUCH smoother but. We did 17 pulls on the dyno so the car was pretty hot by the time Jared did the final adjustments.

Hard to see but:
PINK line is LTH/CBE only with no tune just the way I drove it in.
BLUE line is LTH/CBE/G3 with no tune.
RED line is LTH/CBE/G3/Tune

yea that right around where I would expect them to be after the exhaust mods. good numbers but to me, not worth the price when compared to the gains from the post MAF tubes, that someone on here dyno'd for an 8 hp difference, with the dry flow filters...

Yeah, but 8 whp is a pretty decent gain man. I mean is it worth it vs a couple hundred? Maybe not... is it worth it if you can find some G3's for 300 or so dollars? IMO yes.
