I don't know if i would chose a borla system for the Z, my only reason being is because no one here has it on their car...take it for what its worth.

I'd say HKS Hi power but there's no way you'll find a new one for $1500. But, IMHO it's on the best sounding exhausts on a Z. It's more exotic sounding than most others. I have it and could not be any happier.

Gready, should be in that 1500 range... Not sure what the numbers were like, but the CNT racing one had a nice sound to it, and it's under 1000 for sure!

I don't think there are local z meets where I live. I'm one of two nismos i've even seen on the road. Very few base 370s driving around. I live just west of stl,mo. I also feel like youtube videos don't do exhaust justice so its been hard trying to find an exhaust i like

FI CBE. I have it on mine, love it.

:iagree: F. I. exhaust are good. As a lot of people have stated before including myself is that you have to pay to play. Go with a very reputable name brand. A very good name brand & quality craftsmanship is worth the price & worth the wait.

I may be asking for too much or the best of both worlds but here goes...does anyone make a catback for the Z that is not obnoxiously loud and the tips don't stick out so far? In other words, nice tone but as close to stock look from the rear as possible? From what I have seen Berk seems to be the system, please give your $.02! Thanks in advance.

There are TONS of sick exhaust systems for Nissans. Not sure why people here are only talking about Fast Intentions. Don't get me wrong, I had FI myself and LOVEd it. But hey, there are lot of other options...

Another HKS guy, reporting in! If you happen to run across one for a great deal, or perhaps used, jump on it. It's incredible. It's a tad quiet, but the tone is incredible; it sounds extremely exotic. I can't wait to get HFC's on my car!

I'm in the same boat. I'm thinking of doing either a FI CBE or the HKS Hi-Power. Although I hardly see people talk about the HKS lately. Is it because there are newer and more efficient ones out there? Of the ones I've heard on youtube, it sounds the best to me.
