the difference is in the mounting brackets

you can see it in the pics on their website

you might want to check into that before opening up the box

Edit: in looking at the two, they look exactly the same? weird...i could have swore they were different when i looked at them 2 weeks ago...

i would call AEM customer service on Monday to verify, they look to be the same according to the pics, but sometimes they don't always get that right...maybe the person in charge of the website posted the same pic for both model numbers...

if i do F.I. LTH, will they fit onto the stock nismo exhaust? or should i just do HFC?

The F.I. headers will fit with the stock nismo exhaust, but according to Tony when I talked to him (that was my original plan) he said the stock exhaust would really limit the power and be a significant choke point since the LTHs flow so much better than stock. So, I also got the F.I. CBE at the same time, was a nice weight savings too.

BTW, you won't need HFCs if you the the F.I. headers since they replace the stock exhaust manifolds AND the stock cats.

with my budget i wont have enough to get both F.I. LTH and CBE. So should i just do HFC? or stick with just getting the LTH?

ok. do you know if high flow cats would void the warranty on the car?

It will only void warranty on exhaust components should Nissan deemed that the aftermarket HFCs caused a failure on OEM parts.

It looks as if you are wavering back and forth between the HFCs & LTHs; you'll get more gains in terms of power from the latter and they are typically louder under WOT. The former is cheaper and get slightly less in terms of power I encourage to go through the Fast Intentions threads for the CBE & LTHs; most of your questions are fully answered there. :tiphat:

Looking to install headers on my 2016 FairladyZ NISMO, What are the best headers out there for street driving and novice street drag. I so far have liked what I hear about F.I Headers...Any suggestions.

Your options are FI (which I have), Z1 shorties (they make good power), and PPE's (They're a good headers too). If you are installing the LTH's yourself. The right takes about 1.5 hrs. The left side takes about 6 hrs and lots of cussing.
