Washer Mod

hello guys,
I'm trying to do washer mod DIY and need to know the size of bolts and washers.
I believe my stock bolts are probably really rusted and might want to replace them to new ones. Can some one tell me the exact sizes of the bolts and washer I need to do for this Mod?
Thank You:tiphat:

"washer" mod?! Are you talking about the windsheild washer?

Kingbaby 05-27-2011 02:32 PM

no!

ahahahahahahah

cheap and retarded don't do it...better off buying a single if or welding a straight pipe in there

OK, I'll give:wtf: are you talking about?

It's a mod strictly for tonal improvement of your exhaust.

It's done by adding a couple washer between exhaust canister and the pipe on the bolt creating a small gap.

so you guys don't recommend it? What about removing my muffler and weld custom pipe and tip?? but then, not having a muffler is illegal, isn't it?

Kingbaby 05-27-2011 02:57 PM

I don't recommend it...

Don't do the washer mod.. it sounds raspy as hell!

If you want good sound for cheap, fabricate some straight tubes with tips. That will regulate the airflow and remove some of the rasp.

Ive done it before, didn't think it was raspy at all. I believe it was lock washer = 10mm and bolt = 10mm-1.25 x 30mm
