ya, next is twin turbo!

RCZ 04-21-2009 06:15 PM

That won't be happening. I want to keep my car trackable, not building a highway queen here.

ssqpolo 04-21-2009 06:18 PM

tru tru. well someone has to do it soon. first 370ztt.

RCZ 04-21-2009 06:29 PM

you?

LiquidZ 04-21-2009 09:25 PM

RCZ, it looks like you will have a full Stillen exhaust here shortly. When it is indeed all installed, would you please comment on how well the full Stillen setup fits together?

I know Semtex had some fitment issues with the Stillen headers, Stillen catback, and Berk HFC's. I'm just curious if a full Stillen exhaust fits together like a glove.

I wanna get a GTR in two or three years. But the more i keep reading about how warranty rapes you and how expensive all the damn mods are, I might look into something else or just modding the Z. I dunno. we'll see when the time comes. I'm loving the Z for now

I am not going to be doing the work or helping with it this time around. I will ask the techs how it went when I get the car back.

ssqpolo 04-22-2009 08:08 AM

I haven't seen an answer to this question in spite of two different people asking it, and I want to know too. Anybody know the answer? How much additional oil capacity does the cooler add anyway?

Semtex,

Didn't your installer pre-charge the oil cooler? That's typically standard practice to load it up before connecting the lines; he should be able to tell you how much the cooler holds. Also, if Stillen sold your theirs, they can find out from the manufacturer how much capacity it was designed to hold.

I haven't even ordered the oil cooler yet. (But based on that other thread and the latest revelations about overheating just from heavy traffic, I think I'm about to.)

Josh@STILLEN 04-25-2009 11:20 AM

My understanding is 1 additional quart.. but I'll verify that on Monday when I'm back in the office..
