I'm pretty sure you can get the same parts and same result for cheaper...

I bought a SS Y pipe for $80, and a set of test pipes for $80. Both items shipped to me.

Also, look in the for sale section, I know there are test pipes for sale cheap right now.

These will give you a little more power, not as much as a full legitimate exhaust, but when I put them on, there is a noticeable difference. It will also change the ton of the stock exhaust which some prefer.

I bought this: (at the time was $80 shipped)

And these: ($80 shipped)

Don't forget to factor in install price if you don't DIY. Also, there is a small chance that one or both of your O2 sensors will be damaged on OEM cat removal so plan for that as well.

Install time at a shop is probably 1.5 hr @ $90/hr. Replacement O2 sensors are $250 each.

o man I did want to do it myself but I don't want to have to pay for broken O2 sensors. Thanks for the advice.

If you're that strapped for cash, I would suggest waiting on modifying any sort of engine critical systems (like test pipes or HFCs). Just do the Y pipe part.

Save yourself some money, do it yourself.

If you want to be safe, buy this:

Sears: Online department store featuring appliances, tools, fitness equipment and more

That will prevent you from stripping or breaking your o2 sensors. Be sure not to touch the tip of the sensors either. Take them out, put them safely in a plastic bag or immediately thread them into the test pipe.

Good luck.
