Right now, aside from stock... We have so far:

Stillen: Direct Stock Replacement Headers
Fast Intentions: Long Tube (Cat Delete) Headers
PPE Engineering: Long Tube (Cat Delete) Headers

Haven't heard much about Greddy headers as of yet... Anyone else wanna confirm this?

I have the Fast Intentions LTH's myself and love them. They really continue the exhaust systems ability to free your engine to breathe easier. You will lose a bit in the low end when you put them on. But this is easily corrected with a tune.

How was the install? I keep hearing 8 hours. That adds a lot of $$ to the overall purchase. WOuld you do it again? I have no intention of going FI with my Z. N/A all the way. I was waiting for VVEL to be cracked because that will definitely make LTH's a worthwhile mod.

I had my headers and CBE installed at the same time so it was on the lift once at Fast Intentions. I dropped the car off at 8am and we left the shop at 4:30pm. That included a 15 minute run session to test for leaks and let it just run and break everything in, then a 30 minute ride around as Tony explaned to me how it would sound and how to break it in and everything.

Tony is usually really good on working out deals. I think since I got the whole package at once, I had the headers installed for free with the purchase of the LTH's + CBE and the CBE Install which was only like an hour and a half. So couldn't beat that deal...

Would I do it again... Absolutely. The only question that would be in my mind is if I was in another state that did smog tests every year... if so I would have gone HFC instead. But since AZ doesn't for every car 2007 and newer, I'm good.

I will eventually go F.I. and when I do, I'll sell the headers to someone looking to go SC or stay N/A. But between now and then, I'm happy with the performance/sound of these and will stand by them anyday. Yeah, VVEL cracking hasn't progressed (publicly) as far as I'm sure the community would like, but I'm not too quick to rush with something like that. When it's done, it's done and we can all benefit, but between now and then, I like what I have right now.

Look in this section for "Fast Intentions Exhaust" and "Fast Intentions Long Tube Headers" Tony is the man you wanna talk to. He'll answer all your specific questions, and based on what you want, recommend the best CBE setup.

BLM 03-10-2011 03:01 PM

I already have an ARK CBE on order and waiting to see if the gb in my sig goes through. If it doesn't I might just do a CNT RTP, or LTH if I can get a deal on the install

NYBladeZ 03-11-2011 04:15 PM

Fast Intentions LTH's + Meisterschaft CBE here! I love the headers, when matched with a tune they have great gains.

GZ3 03-11-2011 04:48 PM

i thought our stock header were pretty good, equal length

That setup must be LOUD

NYBladeZ 03-12-2011 12:24 AM

Music to my ears. Docile enough to stay out of trouble loud enough at full throttle to burst ear drums.

This will be interesting to see....Are they going LTH?

BLM 03-12-2011 08:57 AM

I'm assuming/hoping they'll be cheaper than F.I. There's no secret to a design to get a huge power bump over F.I. so I hope their inspiration to produce them is a lower price

06-21-2012 09:26 PM

Obx lth ?

SS_Firehawk 06-22-2012 12:14 AM

They look like F.I. knock off's, but they are a new option. I have PPE's myself. PPE's seem to have a higher pitched sound and need resonators to help with rasp, but the gains are at least on par to F.I's LTH option. I wouldn't waste my time with shorties.

Ark CBE over here! I'm getting LTH's and installing them probably within the next month. I have found no one with this combo so I will let you know how it goes haha

Sh0velMan 06-22-2012 08:20 AM

FWIW, the FI headers are a 1 5/8" design whereas the PPE are an equal length, 1 3/4", stepped header. Ultimately, the PPE headers will flow more, and having tested some 1 5/8" unequal headers, i can tell you that if you're going for big power, you should probably look elsewhere.

Just my 2c.

Nobody mentions the 350z momentum header and tp?

UFreefer 12-30-2012 11:13 AM

It's an old thread I brought back because momentums can't be bought anymore, that's why I was asking about the dc headers.

DC SPORTS Two 3-1 Ceramic Headers [Nissan G37 Coupe (2008-2009), 350Z (2007-2008), 370Z (2009)]

If that's really what they look like, they're definitely not just another Stillen shorty clone.

They look like a good design. The collector isn't as cramped-looking as the Stillen's and their progeny are.

The price is also pretty hard to beat.

I'd say go for them!

Wonder what the collectors ID is...

I'd guess 2.5".

Look at how the primaries are cut and flared out to meet into the collector.. That's really good.

I bet these are a big improvement over the Stillens.

Those + some inexpensive TP's probably put you within a few WHP of the PPE LTH.

So many people have the crappy stillen headers yet I haven't seen anybody with these. Wonder why.

SS_Firehawk 01-07-2013 11:53 AM

They look better than the Stillen offering, but the merge collector isn't as defined and smooth as the LTH offerings or Momentum's. Not the best picture to really look at it.

Hey Haman,
Finally a 370Z owner from Qatar on this Forum. Welcome Bro.
As far as headers goes... Fast Intentions offers the only Long tube headers for the 370Z...
My personal route for my 2013 Z would be F.I Cat Back Exhaust with 18' Resonator and F.I Long tube header coupled with Stillen Gen3 Air intake. UpRev programming to put all these mods into the right direction
F.I 370Z Parts

Hate to rain on your parade, but according to TS's website, those are 1.5" primaries. Which basically means you'd might as well remain stock.

The install is spendy (or frustrating if you're doing it yourself) and wouldn't really be worth it for shorty headers (other than the Momentum shorties).

oohhh thanks for the info dude, yeah I was thinking stillen headers as well but these are half the price so I thought id scoop em up. Shorties is what im going with it since long tubes would mean my HFCs have to go. And def not DIY on this one, gonna let the shop do it. :tiphat:

I hear ya.

LTH's with the Motordyne XYZ with the HFC is what I'd do if I had to have cats for some reason.

Just me tho.

I've done plenty of research on the combo already :) It's all in my journal linked in my Sig.

What the hell are those?

stevent85 01-16-2013 07:52 AM

I think those are the meisterschaft headers. Like their exhaust......crazy expensive. I remember seein that pic when i was looking around exhausts.

Sh0velMan 01-16-2013 07:56 AM

Collector looks... less than optimal.
