One way to distinguish the two is the latest edition has the vibration dampening tabs.

Is this place really an authorized motordyne reseller? They've got a good price going on the ART pipes, but wanted to make sure it wasnt sketchy.

One of the vendors on here (fbparts) are even cheaper!

:tiphat: Perfect news!

Will there be two versions of ART pipes: for RWD and AWD? Or only one universal?

Motordyne 10-02-2011 03:49 PM

Only one universal.

harp00n 10-08-2011 04:42 PM

bump for any news about the new AWD design!

Motordyne 10-09-2011 06:51 PM

The ART pipes have been confirmed to fit with much more clearance for the automatic transmission but it hasn't been fit on a X yet.

Anybody in the US who wants to test fitment on a X?

harp00n 10-10-2011 04:29 AM

posted the link to this page on g35driver.com and myg37.com, all the people with the AWD are there ;)

daisuke149 10-10-2011 09:39 AM

I may know someone with an AWD who might be interested. I'll try to reach out to them.

So if the exhaust is pretty much done can we get a sneak peek at this thing . Sound clip or something ??

Just as quick note:

I took off the CNT Racing Exhaust a week ago. So now I have the ART Pipes on the car with stock exhaust.

Its still a very quiet car, but it has that Purr that I think the car should have sounded like stock. Its actually a very nice tone. Slightly understated but then a stock car shouldnt be ridiculous.

I'm sure it won't be too hard to find the volunteers, as a lot of X owners like to tune their exhausts too :)

I'm still waiting for the news about the AWD fitment, but will buy them anyway (I have good exhaust shop here, i'm sure they will custom fit almost anything :))!

The only thing I'm concerned of is the exhaust smell. Can I run Motordyne XYZ-cat pipe with my Borla H-pipe true-dual + ART pipes on my VQ35HR (i'm rather noob about the exhaust compilation fitment)?

Motordyne 10-11-2011 09:41 AM

Sorry, the XYZ pipe is not compatible with your Borla.

We are going to bring in a G37 later this week to adapt the 370Z exhaust to the G37.

Fingers crossed that all we need are simple extensions.

So I guess that means no sneak peak ???

Motordyne 10-11-2011 04:47 PM

Not really. I don't like posting pictures of prototypes built on the car. Its much better looking when the final product is ready.
