Guys, guys, please don't post Wikipedia links to support your opinions. Anyone can post, or edit, a Wiki page. Not exactly authoritative.......

Well, that's correct. In fact, even you could go edit it and write your belief there. I would also remind you that if erroneous information were written into the Wiki, most likely someone would come along and edit it. The fact that it still stands would indicate to me it's more factual that you would give it credit for.

+6 HP from CAI as my 2nd mod. I love my G3's. Whe I touch them after driving, they are hot as hell. There is a reason Cobb made intake tubes out of non-metallic materials.

Then something is wrong with your intakes, mine are NEVER hot.

:iagree: unless the car has been sitting at idle for awhile, mine were always cool to the touch when I pop the engine immediately after driving.

The only time the intakes get hot if I turn off the car and let it sit for a while.

but even after overheating and getting rev limited it didn't get hot.

Hmmm...well that could be it :tiphat:. Imma check next time the minute I turn off the engine. Nothing wrong with them though, as someone stated above. They work just fine, sound awesome, and as stated I dyno'd +6

Pages on Wikipedia do not get edited constantly, especially ones as obscure as that one. It's a complete crap shoot. Some pages are monitored and would be re-edited as you stated.

"Improve Fuel Economy up to 10% with Injen Products"

Vendor horseschitt. Sounds like a commercial for a Turbonator. :stirthepot:

The +6HP that you produced...that was on top of the Berk? How much long did you wait after installing the G3's to do a dyno run?

gaveup 09-27-2010 02:39 PM

I can't help but think when I see G3 dynos is that these cars are now running leaner up top, which kind of makes sense why they make more power up there also. The more I read threads about cold air intakes (specifically the stillens) the less I see mentioned about this.

I know it's a completely far fetched idea (and one I would never waste my money on), but I would love to see someone do a baseline dyno and then install the g3's and tune the afr to match that of the stock dynos afr. I mean this realistically will show the true gain these intakes make and will completely shut down all claims that the stock airbox is efficient enough for this car.

Just a thought.
