its completely flush with the bumper, how is that sticking out? any more in and you wouldnt be able to tell the car has an exhaust on it.

I have Stillen CBE- It ends in the exact same spot as stock which is pretty flush with bumper- from the SIDE profile it does look much larger as it is about 1/2" larger dia. so you see more chrome tip. I like the larger dia and way the tip is gradually tappered back into the pipe. The stock view from the side / how stock chrome tip ends always looked odd to me. For most the Stillen looks virtually stock but sounds much nicer
