Do you guys think the stainless cbe or carbon fiber would look better? I cant seem to decide.... Anyone in the forum has the cb on the 40th?

I don't know if anyone has the CF on a 40th. Mine will be delivered next week, so I don't have it on my car yet....

Perfect ! Lol please post pics. I really think the cb is going to look better. Did you go with 18?

The Stainless would look clean and OEM like, if your planning on adding CF parts in the future i would get the CF Cans...Either way it's going to sound mean!

My thoughts exactly, I'm planning on adding some more CF accents. I think it will look nice and subtle with the 40th color...

Weight and performance should matter more than looks

If that's true you would have to gut the whole car.... A lot more effective then adding CF, unless you start replacing all the body panels with dry CF...

I add performance parts based on how much performance they add.
I add "cosmetic" parts because I like the way it looks...
But that's me... to each their own...

Even so

the CF CBE is even less weight :ughdance:

I'm kind of concerned because I'm getting the H&R springs, and the FI CBE sits 4inches off the ground - H&R leaves me with 3inches off the ground. Is anyone here running this setup? I'm afraid the cans are going to hit bumps or something

What would you rather have a hot prudish gf that wouldn't let you touch her or a ok looking gf that could teach Heidi Fleiss a thing or two.

You're right, and Eibachs or Coilovers are a better choice than H&R's if you're going with this setup. If yours is a dd?

BoostAddict 07-24-2010 07:57 PM

I have the CF cans with my setup, looks pretty good if you ask me. I think it like more than the SS cans I've seen on the 40ths. The sound is amazing for sure. I'll try to take some pics tomorrow...if I manage to wash the car.

Also, I'm lowered on KWv3 coils and haven't had the exhaust scrape on anything...wish I could say the same for the chin spoiler up front.
