Could you even get ahold of a GT-R manifold? I mean I thought the entire engine, manifolds and all are hand built and not exactly easy to get ahold of?

Fair enough. My apologies -- it's hard to remember who's done what sometimes. And I'm in the same boat -- I've done many reviews, provided dyno graphs, etc. So I completely understand the 'okay, it's someone else's turn now' sentiment. The thing is, there are some people who will shamelessly never be the first one to try something while pushing others to take the plunge. (It's what MightyBobo has termed 'Mod-Pushers', lol.) But that's obviously NOT you. So again, my apologies. :tiphat:

Its cool. I'm not saying its somebody elses turn though, I really would like to get one of these, cause I've been wanting to see something like this because there are no spacers for the plenum like the 350z and g35. I just can't afford it at the moment. I would deffinetley like to see the results if somebody is able to snatch one before me. I just hope we don't have to loose the strut brace to fit it. Oh, and I checked on the GTR manifold. They are available to order for $615 from your local dealer

I doubt it would have any affect on your smog status as the SMOG testing is based on the vehicles Omitted Gases. This is an intake plenum not an exhaust. It should not affect your smog status like individual throttle bodies do not affect your smog.

Makes sense. THX BULLITT!

According to Jason@Kinetix, they already have one in the works. I can't wait to see what they come up with.
