Ufreefer, how did the exhaust sound change with the y-pipe added to the OEM catback and HF cats? Wondering if it made it sound better at all or different.

Ufreefer, how did the exhaust sound change with the y-pipe added to the OEM catback and HF cats? Wondering if it made it sound better at all or different.

I did a 3 base dynos with OEM exhaust, then 3 dynos with the HFC's 2 hrs later (11hp & tq gain across the power band, then 3 dynos an hr later with the Tanabe Y-pipe. I got almost 0 gains from the y-pipe but didn't lose power anywhere either...basically 1-2hp midrange. I'll take the car back to the dyno again down the road to see if I get more gains, since I only did 3 pulls for each setup. |
