Thank you AK. This is inspiring. What is the ground clearance from the ground to the lowest point of the exhaust?

My car is stock height (but I think your is lowered) but if you like, I can still measure it for you tomorrow

When I was looking for exhaust, muffler with a good ground clearance was on of the important factor (posted in post 1). This HKS has a slightly better ground clearance than similarly designed exhaust systems (in my honest opinion)

Similar exhaust for 370Z

Thanks AK. FI will definitely give me a problem. HKS will probably be the best choice so far.

It's posted in post 1 (pic 13th and 14th). He told me that my revs were bouncing at 6500 RPM and won't go forward. So, there was probably a glitch with his system or something else. According to him (upto the same rpm), there's wasn't any loss or gain (not sure how accurate is that).

Thats cool. Seems like we're both on the same track. I installed my Stillen G3 about 2 weeks ago and now looking at the HKS Hi Flow, but I'm still wondering about what kind of numbers this exhaust actually does......

Then I'll move onto the stereo system upgrade and maybe pulleys and COBB.

I have a question. why only 1 hp gain???
I saw about 20+ on F.I or am i blur??

Sound great congratulation ^^

2400$ for exhaust? unacceptable (to me). Thats half the price of a GTM S/C kit.

It looks great ,sounds great, and im sure gave some power. If its what you wanted and you like it then im definitely happy for you.

Can't hide money, though. Shew. lol

^ That's MSRP. It's more in the $1,700 range.

I have no clue how much HP/Tq this exhaust adds as we were having problem with the dyno. So, I'm looking forward to see someone else do the dyno on their Z.

I'm sorry that it's unacceptable to you but I like the way it looks and sounds. I love the whole technology with the canisters, so that I can control the loudness unlike other exhaust where you have no control over it. You basically nailed it in your 2nd paragraph how I feel about this exhaust :).

TongMan 07-05-2010 07:08 AM

catback exhausts are so expensive for the Z. I will be driving a stock Z for a long time.

so, whats this charcoal canister shield removing buisness?
