Default Greddy Exhaust ??

Guys I need your opinion on my next exhaust set up.

I currently have the F.I. non-res CBE paired with their non-res test pipes. Don't get me wrong this setp up is one of the best ones I've had but I'm the type of guy who gets tired of things pretty quickly and need to make a change right now.

Before buying the F.I. set up my second choice was the Greddy Ti-C CBE and now I'm thinking of selling the F.I. for the Greddy.

I would like people who have the Greddy exhaust comment on how they like their exhaust and what kind of set up they currently have.

Thx fellas !!

I have the Ti-C which unfortunately I think is no longer available from Greddy and love it. Loud enough not to be obnoxious without any rasps or drone. No complaints. Not as deep as the Fi that I've heard from a fellow Z member. Wouldn't upgrade to another since it is somewhat turbo ready.

Personally I would stay with what you already have because I believe going from F. I. to Greddy is a huge downgrade. It is like me saying that I want to go from my Meisterschaft exhaust to an HKS exhaust……not a very smart move. The craftsmanship and quality of F. I. & Meisterschaft are definitely some of the very best out there, but at the end of the day it is up to you and it is your money.

Correct. They no longer make the TI-C but it another name. Looks the same but not as high performance as was. Course the TI-C was made for forced induction cars.

This has to be one of the biggest over statements on this site. ''Greddy is a huge downgrade''. How's that again? Based onnnnn what?

FI does have great quality no doubt. Makes great power. Sounds great and smooth. Which sucks up most buyers. There's nothing bad that can be said. I personal don't think it's anything special when it comes to sound. More like stock times x3 with a deeper note.

But for Greddy they might not have the smoothest exhaust note due to rasp and drone, which it is mild. And of course when you pull the silencers out (the only way to do it IMO) it's really raspy and lots of drone from inside the car. But that baby sounds like a beast. Can be heard from a mile away (no crap). Very deep sound. More for race inspired people (few of us left). So it's hard to compare the two. Ever where I go, everyone loves mine. Everyone! It's just not for everyone. And the quality is great. But the Greddy is a forced induction exhaust to provide the best flow for those applications. So on a NA car you will not gain as much HP and TQ. And it's not like it's that much difference.

So really you can't compare the two.
