Default R2C Performance Cold Air Intakes!?

Hey does anyone know about these intakes at all?
I searched the forums and couldnt find much on them...

2009+ Nissan 370z R2C Performance MaxxFlow Cold Air Intake

Seems like they have heat shields on them though they dont look too promising... pretty important thing to consider when ur living in the sunshine state (Queensland) in Australia!! hahah

Anybody installed these? Any dyno results!?
Or should I just buy the Stillen Gen 3's like everyone else

Good system. Local to me and I've paid them several visits when they were developing the Maxima intake.

You'd be very happy with their system.

No other intake will give you as much gain as the Gen3, so if you are lazy, get these I guess.

If you're lazy, you won't be installing or maintaining the G3s. lol

Yes, the Gen 3s will give you the most gains, but install/maintenance is a pain, no matter what anyone says.

Well good for you. Not everyone will want to remove their bumper/grille just to clean the filters.

What sort of gains are people getting with the R2C intakes? And what do they sound like?

I just realised the other day that the Gen 3's "massive gains" are only at 7000 rpms so its a bit useless really if u cant harness the power... dunno wat they sound like but im thinking of just getting something like a pop charger that will maintain the stock power but make it sound meaner... that is unless these r2C intakes dyno results show good increases across the rev range!?!?!

I have the R2C intakes with the Modshack vent mod. They produce a little deeper sound and they are a little louder than the oems especially at high rpms. As far as the "massive gains" of the G3s, some dynos have them losing hp and torque in the mid-range.
