The dude is a poor teenager and put some washers between bolts on his exhaust. He didn't chop it off, he didn't drill holes in it, he put some washers between bolts. completely reversible in a matter of minutes. Yes all it does is make the car louder, but so does running open headers and this is much less labor intensive. It's not like he rusted his whole hood or is slammed to the ground on cut springs running 215's on stock rims with -10* camber.
