First of all, great post, the sound is awesome and it's basically something I would consider doing myself However: what if water or dirt gets in the gap and builds

First of all, great post, the sound is awesome and it's basically something I would consider doing myself

However:

what if water or dirt gets in the gap and builds up in the pipe?

Just wondering, what made you decide on 4 washers instead of 2? Would it sound any different?
