As long as you know its not going to add gains and atleast you didnt gut it and ruin a piece of equipement, nothing wrong with this. Its a good mod for what its suppose to do, change the sound. Any fumes getting into the car at standstill?

semtex 04-24-2010 06:42 PM

It sounds good.

While it does sound good, it is sort of an... er... interesting mod.

Yes, it's creative. Gotta give it that.

Do you get any rattling/buzzing/raspy noises?

nogoodname 04-24-2010 07:38 PM

Instead of spending 20 bucks on that mod you did. You could of achieved the same results for free.
Just borrow a drill and a 3/4 inch drill bit.

It's a cutout. You put it into your exhaust piping, and run stock until you take the plate off the other side, then the exhaust flows freely out of there making for very loud noise and HP gains (in cars with enough air intake to not need the back pressure).

Yea, drilling holes in the exhaust wasn't a good idea. Welded some pipes here and there to solve this.

I would rather spend $20 and add washers than drill a hole in my exhaust. Sounds good man.
