right but my point is if the mass air flow sensors are triggered with water with the computer system onboard should restrict any flow into that engine or cut it off... with the sensors right next to the throttle body its already too late... my question is should i use bypass valves and how much power will be reduced...
]as u can see in south florida we dont have great drainage.... |

They may, but by that time it's WAY too late....The suction of 3.7 liters at whatever RPM's is something you can't get around. Water ingestion will be almost instantaneous. The only way to avoid sucking water is to NOT drive into it..
