Well starting today I go to this place where they strip down cars and fix some.
I guess it will be a good learning place. I mean today I fixed a totally broken transmission Biggest problem is my father he helped me with paying for the car and he is pretty "OMG YOU SUCK AT EVERYTHING LEAVE IT TO THE PROS" I doubt that he would even let me change a lightbulb on the car -_- |
I didnt learn jack diddly squat from my dad - he HATED cars. Had to teach everything myself. Trust me, its a lot easier than you think.
|
the sad thing is.
he LOVES cars. I mean why else would he buy a GT-R he used to mess about with cars in his younger days. but its like he is scared of me doing ANYTHING on my car. he would be scared shitless if I dared touching the intake |
So prove him wrong. Go watch people do work on em, learn a thing or two. Prove to him that you can learn.
|
I know. But he aint a easy person. Haha well il first have to find a shop where they SELL the stillen intakes.
|
MightyBobo, if youre gonna give him a silly answer on purpose make it more outlandish next time, you had me wondering about you there for a second :)

geez i think everybody on here has learned by now to never trust anyone whos name is in orange. yeah just grab up the stillen or injen intake, download the .pdf service manual for the car, do some reading, maybe take a consumer auto class, or hey just get your dad to do it. My father hates cars and hates me buying things for my cars but guess who he gets to fix his?
|
found a retailer asks 599 euro for the intake
converted that to dollar = 810 bucks il see what stillen themselves offer me |
update.
I bought the stillen gen3 intake. |

i am going to call the dealership tommorow and see if they will install it for cheap. I know I can do it myself but my parents would give me hell and it IS true warrenty wise it is smarter to let the dealership do it.
well basically the owner of it since he does nothing but modding cars. for example he himself did his TT setup with his 350Z. But yeah I will buy a cheap old car where I can experiment with. Don't want to risk messing up a 60.000 bucks car |
 $60,000 I would die if i lived outside of the US seriously that is double what the car costs here
|
oh yes
the car is 46.000ish euro full option 62,710.88 dollars. see now why I fear to mess with it myself |
