Be warned though, that will fail you when you come up for smog eventually. The emissions test checks for sensor readiness and if a set of o2 sensors are turned off, they will fail the readiness check and you fail.

Otherwise, keep adding o2 bung extenders until you don't get the code anymore.

ill worry about that in 6 years (isnt it 6 years for a new vehicle in california?)

regardless..couldnt you just change the tune on the fly to the stock tune as per the UpRev allows, and hope the CEL doesnt go off during a smog?

or screw it..i know some places where i can pass smog :tiphat:

9,000 miles on my ERZ HFCs. No CEL after the initial one that was due to not tightening one of the o2 sensors. :)

These are 280 shipped now are they not? if so they really are a no brainer if you want HFC's ..
I ran there TP's a while back and had no complaints.

Montoya021 03-22-2011 02:03 PM

I just ordered mine!

Nikkolai 03-22-2011 09:32 PM

I just installed mine this past weekend. The sound did not really increase. The exhaust is a little deeper but that is about it. The Nismo exhaust is still quiet.

Hoping for it to go back to $280 shipped.

what is the difference between the cnt resonated test pipes and the cnt high flow catted pipe? i wanna know why the resonated type is much more cheaper than the high flow catted type?

franky2222 04-01-2011 10:30 AM

your compairing test pipes vs HFC the HFC are more expensive

KemBayaUZ 04-01-2011 11:38 PM

but from the pictures, both of them look the same..

djpathfinder 04-02-2011 12:33 AM

Test pipes don't have "packing" material...no bulged out part. The gases go straight through.
