What is the difference between single and double wall tip?

Basically on the double walled tips, there are two layers of metal welded at the tip and then polished. Gives it a more full "elegant" look compared to a single wall which is more of a race type look.

Do these fit 2016+ Nismo?

How loud would you say these are over stock and is there any droning?

Yes, it does fit! But the tips will sit slightly inwards since the Nismo bumper/diffuser is longer than the regular bumpers.

No news yet. This product is still brand new and the only clips we have are from the video I posted. All pre-orders through our website will be shipping end of May/Early June. So should have much more information once people start installing on their Zs. Remark is of high quality and these have mufflers. So shouldnt drone that much by design.

mikeb 05-08-2019 11:05 AM

I really like this design, thanks for posting. I won't be doing a tune and I seen reports of low end loss with most exhaust mods, even axle back. If anyone can comment on axle back low end loss please share

Bandit_Kaine 05-09-2019 06:50 AM

I pre-ordered, I'll post back when I receive and install them.

Neo961 06-19-2019 09:52 AM

If anyone can post a review when they install it that'd be awesome :)

KamiSpeed 06-25-2019 09:38 AM

Reviews should be coming soon! All of our backorders have shipped out. And we have all the styles NOW IN STOCK if interested.

I cant say much about the quality of those brands, but at the very least Remark offers a Lifetime Warranty on manufacturer defects. They also use 16 gauge T304 Stainless Steel. As for it being a replica, from the outside it "looks" the same, since there are only so many different ways to design axle-backs for these vehicles. Here are some closeups to show the quality of these axle-backs.

Got my set yesterday for my 2018 AT base model. Arrived at 3:00 pm and had them on the car by 3:45 pm. Quality is excellent, fit is absolutely perfect and the sound is wonderful. Serious low rumble at idle, powerful hum when cruising at highway speed, and real growl when accelerating. I am totally happy with the purchase and ease of install. I selected the burned double wall tips and they look magnificent!!!

Mine will be delivered today! I will try to do some pictures and sound comparison between stock nismo and these.

Received and installed!

Total time: ~45 minutes

The axle-back was well packaged, with sturdy box and foam packaging material where needed.

The install is pretty straight forward, however the included hardware bolts/nuts and rubber hangers were not used. In my car at least the stock bolts were welded in place so i had to reuse those, and the rubber hanger piece was also not needed (no way to mount them) and the stock ones were reused. I did use the included gaskets.

The hardest part was loosening everything, the nuts were on pretty tight and I had to use a breaker bar, also the rubber hangers required a bit of elbow grease to remove the stock exhaust. The tips are about 3-5mm more inward than the stock tips, nothing noticeable. I believe this is only on Nismo.

Make sure to use proper safety gear for your hands and eyes.

Sound: It is a very nice low/growly sound. Does not drone at all at any RPM and is actually very stock-ish sounding at cruising speeds. It is however very loud and aggressive under acceleration and fits the car perfectly. Very happy I got these, I think they are perfect for the car and the way the car should have sounded from factory.

The car seems a bit more "peppy", but it could be perception due to me pushing the pedal a little harder to hear the exhaust note.

skidro 06-26-2019 06:59 PM

Sorry guys I cannot post pics as I do not own a camera or a cell phone (yeah, old timer caveman)!!!! I really cannot tell if there is a power increase, but it certainly does not feel slower either. Just a really fine and well made system and I love it

How would you guys rate the loudness on these? How about drone?
I'm looking for something like this not too loud but enough to know I'm driving something sporty lol.

How would you compare the noise level to the invidia Gemini cat back.

I don't know about the gemini exhaust. But these don't really drone at all that I can tell. I think it is pretty loud, but not obnoxious or annoying. The best I can describe is probably like a stock v8 mustang if you've heard those. I can't stop wanting to drive around to hear them. They are really good sounding.

KamiSpeed 07-05-2019 09:53 AM

Bandit_Kaine installed on his Nismo :D Thanks for posting the vid man! It sounds great:

How's the resonance level on these? I had tried some Belugas and took them off after about an hour due to an extremely high level of resonance. Everything in the car was buzzing or vibrating especially in the rear hatch area. It was unbearable. They sounded like a busted muffler. It's as if the mufflers were hollow. I just don't want to end up with the same sort of thing.

PS: Right now, I have AAM S-line axleback muffler with 5 inch tips and it sounds (and looks) awesome. Just wished it was a little louder.

Well boys and girls, I also pulled the trigger on Remark.

Now, on to the answers that people may ask and ponder about.

1) Packaging - Well wrapped as you can see on the picture.

2) Installation - It took me about 1 hour-ish. That is excluding the removal of the stock axel-back. With the correct set of tools, pop that sucker in, and BAM, you'll be done in 15 minutes! All jokes aside, I took my time because I didn't want to scratch the pretty and shiny exhaust.

3) Craftsmanship - The welds on this product is pretty spot on just like KamiSpeed posted. Since Bandit_Kaine chose the double wall, I decided to go with the single wall.

4) Sound:icon17: - What can I say, I like it alot! Nice deep tone, not ricey at all. After the install and putting away all my toys, started the car up, and you just woken up a beast from it's sleep. Maybe because it's the first start up and the exhaust has to be broken in more, probably the startup sound will tone down. Vrrroooommmm

5) Driving:driving: - Everyone has their own perception, judgement, whatever it is on the driving sound of the vehicle. Bandit_Kaine just recently posted videos. There is another one that Bandit posted while driving. ***Side note - thank you Bandit for posting pictures and videos*** With the windows down, you can hear it, as well as the rear hatch area that are vibrating while driving. Personally, it doesn't affect me. Just crank up the tunes and you probably won't hear the rear. With the windows down, yup, you definitely can hear it. Drone, didn't notice any on cruising speeds at ~50mph. Haven't taken the car on freeway speeds. I think it shouldn't be too bad.

6) Powah - Since I already have K&N filters with MAF tubing, with the exhaust installed, probably a slight increase. Don't want to go too fast or I'll lose control:rolleyes:.

7) Personal Review - Now, I'm not going to rate if it's a 8, 5, 7, 9, so on and so forth. I've been listening to countless youtube videos on different types of exhaust(cat-back and axel-back) ever since I purchased the car. This was the sound I was looking for and made a risky decision to go with it. Honestly, youtube videos don't do justice. You have to go out there and hear different types from other members, friends, family, etc.. I think the right exhaust is a tad lower. So I will adjust some other time. In the future, I will change the stock cats to a resonated TP. Will it be louder, sure, why not. We have a sports car! Make that bitch purr and growl louder. :happydance:

Thank you KamiSpeed for the fast delivery! Ordered these on the 4th of July. Received them on 7/6/19. Took advantage of the sale. Couldn't have asked for more. Thank you Remark for creating a great product!:tiphat:

Thanks for the review. So if I understand correctly, it has enough resonance to cause the rear hatch area to vibrate? Can you confirm? I had the same issues with the Belugas I had and it drove me absolutely nuts.

Cyber, yes it has enough resonance to make the rear hatch vibrate.

Thanks, NismoLdy! I’m still on the fence with these regardless. They do sound amazingly good in the YouTube videos.

I ordered one as well. Installation was a breeze. The orange hanger doesn't really work. I just used the old ones. And one of my bolt was jacked.
As for start up. Wow! Deep grumble.
At 3k rpm and above get loud! Deep grumble when rev matching. Fitment was spot on. I made a video which I mounted the GoPro just above the exhaust and another shot on the inside rear glass.
