I've searched, but can't seem to zero in on an answer.
I recently removed the bank 2 intake resonator and plugged the connective opening in the stock intake hose. The sound level at full throttle, high rpm was slightly louder and more sharp - a small change. The throttle response suffered a bit immediately after the removal, but returned to normal after the ecm had time to adjust the fuel trims after a few start/run cycles.

I also data logged before and after the resonator removal and found that bank 2 was leaned about 0.2afr at full throttle above 3000 rpm. That turned out to be a good a outcome because bank 2 was always running richer than bank 1.
