Thanks for the info. It is exactly what I was looking at next! Finally someone who has first hand experience with it. I couldn't find anyone who has one and the Youtube sound clips don't really help me much. I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these but I need to know the following:

Does it fit perfectly to the stock midpipe? Any pics, soundclips?
How long did it take for you to get it and did you order it directly from AAM?

Hey thanks for that! Sorry slipped my mind. I've been going back and forth on this.

I can say I have no regrets at all,it took around 2 weeks to get it,as they had to make it before shipping, took an hour to install taking my time.If I had to put a number on it I would say its 25% louder than the stock muffler, nothing too radical at all.

The only thing that I can't decide on is what type of exhaust tips I go with. Since I have a Nismo, I will probably go with the 5" tips but I really like the burnt titanium ones.
What do you guys think? Too much for a Nismo? Just can't find a picture of a '15+ Nismo with 5" burnt titanium exhaust tips.

Update: Gave Luis at AAM a call and was told that the 5” Titanium tips are on back order so I finally went with the polished tips. I think they’ll probably look better anyway on a black Nismo. I’ll let you guys know what I think once I get everything.
Now all I gotta wait for is spring.....hehe

I received my AAM S-line axleback on Tuesday. So far so good. It was surprisingly quick shipping and everything was well packaged. Here are a few pics of the exhaust and the 5 inch polished tips. Nice welds on the tips. Very nice muffler canisters. I notice that they've changed the way they weld the two canisters together. They used to weld in small metal rods to hold the canisters together. Now they just place a weld on the canister edges. Hopefully this is a more reliable way of doing it. I did take a look inside the canisters using a flexible borescope camera and I was happy to see that these are straight flow mufflers. That's a good sign.

I will be installing it this weekend. I won't be able to drive my car until spring but I'll at least start it up to hear what it sounds like. I'll try to make a vid. Now, all that remains to be seen is the fit with my Nismo bumper. I'll post pics once everything is installed.

I installed the axle back on Saturday and couldn't be happier. The install was extremely simple because everything fit perfectly. The fit and finish is spot on and it did not require any adjusting or shims. The exhaust tips went on without issue except the band clamps required extreme tightening for the tips to stay in place. The band clamps could've been a better quality. I will probably replace them with better quality clamps next spring.

Since it was relatively nice last Saturday, I took my car out of storage and went for a quick drive. I was pleasantly surprised as soon as I started it up. I was greeted with a deeper growl and I could now actually hear the exhaust with the windows down unlike the previous Nismo muffler which was the quietest muffler I've ever had on any car. Even my '17 Maxima has a louder OEM exhaust. I don't know what Nissan were thinking.

Anyways, it really comes alive at WOT. It's just loud enough for my tastes. There is 0 drone and is very quiet at idle. As someone else stated, I would agree that it's about 25% louder than stock.

Here are some pics. I did not get a chance to make a video, unfortunately. I'll probably do that next spring since it is now back in storage and we are being hit with a major snow storm.
