Call me as soon as you are ready to at least leave a deposit... Thanks, Tony |
Just my :twocents: here, but if anyone needs to get a hold of Tony/FI then definitely call the number listed in his sig. He may not check the forums for periods of time, but I know from my personal experience that he will at the very lease return your calls. I had some questions for him on the day I was doing my install (weekend) and he got back to me pretty quickly.
BTW, I've had mine for about 6 months and I still love 'em |

i have ordered the cbe and long tube headers and on both times i have called he promptly answered and took the time to explaind and review his products, he ensures he is not upselling a product but making sure you get what you are looking to accomplish out of your Z, and perhaps one of the biggest differences is that you get to speak with both the owner/manufacturer/and user when you call tony, you are not dealing with representatives who are just there to type a transaction but with TONY! anywho, i havent even gotten my exhaust or headers and im already impressed, im certain i will be that much more of a F.I fanboi as soon as i get them installed.:driving: |
I want to buy the headers now, I'm ready. I'll have to check out your payment plans first tho.

I did not buy the LTH , but remember talking directly to Tony when he first advertised them, got to admit, seemed a stand up guy and answered all my questions.
Dont deal with the Monkey when you can talk directly to the Organ grinder. |

I've had these headers for a few months and love them. However, recently its come into question on whether the LTH's plus a straight pipe 2.5" exhaust is to free flowing and takes away some torque. Not giving out names but a member on here made close to the same numbers as I did but he had a fatter torque curve. However, he had a manufactured CBE whereas I had homemade straight 2.5" plumbing. He also had intakes and pulleys, I have neither. The numbers weren't alarmingly different but just wondering what you guys think about it being to much flow.
|
On a NA car a straight flowing exhaust like ours you will lose some low end but should have a slightly higher end.
|
Yeah I think that's what happened, all in all I've made within 1-2% of the same amount of HP as Z's with intakes, pulleys, hfc's and a tested cbe with just LTH's straight piping and a tune. I love this piece, now if GTM can make it work with their S/C kit we're in the money.

Should know soon, just trying to get everything scheduled with Baker right now.

Just want to say, I spoke, at length, with Tony today about the FI LTH's and his CBE. Actually, wound up calling about 3 times as I thought of more ?s. What a great guy, he took the time to answer everything very honestly and straightforward.
Wound up placing an order for a set of ceramic coated LTH's and non-resonated CBE w/carbon fiber mufflers. Now the hard part, waiting till March. :excited: Thanks Tony! |
These headers are a great product. My power band from 5 to 75 is drastically different. I recommend these to everyone. My only problem I had was removing my air/fuel sensors from my factory manifolds. I dont know if they are heat welded or if it is a pull em out and your screwed type of deal with the factory warranty (lots of problems if you search with headers or going with a turbo set up). Anyway be very carefull getting these out. Get some PB Blaster and soak the hell out of them. After a half turn if it gets any tensions then stop and soak again. It will save you about $700 bucks!!!
