Definitely don’t have to cut the piping - and you can also do better than stillen filter size I believe, By getting longer single filters. I forget what size will fit, maybe 7” length?
I think the flexibility of not having to cut the radiator support with the easy install of 2 filters made it worth it for me. That said, I did wind up cutting the radiator support anyway. Ha.
