Installed mine yesterday, car sounds so much sweeter between 1K and 4K, it was like music to my ears!

Box was well packaged, all bolts and pieces were there.

Bolted up without much issue, slight alignment issue where the x-pipe mates with the stock cats but a little jiggling of the x-pipe and the flex joints took care of it. Total install time from lift up to lift down, 1 hour.

Great to hear and congrats on getting your exhaust in good shape with no issues regarding installation

:( I'm at 3 weeks install time but it's not the exhausts fault. AAaagghh now nissan sucks at keeping a deadline.

Where can we buy the CBE? Is it out to the general public yet?

Anyone have one that has decided to go a different route? I'll take it off your hands. :)

I also would like to know if these are available to the public yet. I am trying to decide between Berk HFC + Berk CBE vs FI HFC + FI CBE. Has anyone experienced
both in person ?

got the car running friday just need to put in the last stub shaft before i can actually drive it but the differential is mounted in the car so i could put the back half of the exhaust on. had to finagle the bolts a little during install but nothing out of the ordinary for an exhaust. fit's good and the tips line up great. gave the stickers to my buddy to throw on his jetta we are ricing out.

Edit: also if the F.I. is louder than the berk there is no way in hell i would buy it as i like not being pulled over or having my neighbors call the cops.

They're available to the public and have been....The first two group orders were the initial launch of the product...Just go to Berks website... www.berkstechnology.com or you can call them direct to place your order...FYI...you won't see the CBE on the website, because they haven't had time to update it...They've been busy working on back orders.....Since they're on back order right now, and you can anticipate a 4-6 week wait, as this exhaust system is custom built...The sooner you put in your order, the sooner you'll have it on your door step...You can expect a 5-7 week wait if you chose to go for the FI Exhaust, as both of these exhausts are in high demand!

The FI is louder if you get the big CF cans.

Nice, Steve. Ill probably be getting mine re-dyno-ed beginning of next month. Bleeding a bit in the pocketbook, this month...

MightyBobo 04-06-2010 03:12 PM

BTW, I called Berk about my exhaust being slightly to the right - they are sending me a spacer and 2 new gaskets, no questions asked. Thumbs up to them.

That's pretty impressive...especially coming from a Mustang Dyno.....I know that you didn't do a baseline...but do you really feel a difference on the butt dyno?
