Z1 ported intake, worth it??
Thinking about doing their ported intake before I give the car to them for dyno tuning... Is it worth it to spend 275 on this ported manifold? Any actual gains?

Not based on my experience. Search the forums, you'll see.

All is needed.

I'm planning to have mine done after i install the Z1 header's,,,i recently upgraded the Z1 cai to a high-flow design & want to maximize before re-tune.
It's about moving air in & out of the engine-minimizing restriction....as currently my stock exhaust manifolds/header's are holding it back. |
I know there are 2 shops in the southeast, that have performed this & shown Dyno results...I'm thinking it helps mostly on the top side of the rpm range.
I'm guessing that it depends on what current mods you have will differ in gains/losses...that would suck to lose power after a mid....biggest thing I lost after mods is traction...lol |
motordyne huge gains

SOHO Motorsports report's 13whp gain above 7k rpm's...less hp/tq below/but that is with long tube header's & 3" exhaust. 3" exhaust will help for TT application-but seem's too large for N/A |
