GTR intake manifold conversion from RJ manufacturing.

So it seems that RJ manufacturing has done a GTR manifold conversion for the hr and vhr engines. This is what they had to say about it:

"We're proud to release our exciting solution for your VQ HR car. Our kit offers a bolt on solution with everything needed to utilize the GTR intake manifold. We have spared no expense or cut any corners. It's a perfect fit and will make serious horsepower.

Here is what we include in the kit:
Upper GTR gaskets
Lower HR manifold gaskets
GTR throttle body gaskets
GTR balance tube gaskets
New hardware for lower and upper manifolds
Billet oil cap
Billet balance flanges
Billet fuel rails
Braided -10 hose balance with Billet an fittings
Billet -6an fittings

The total kit, as seen above is $1,995. Product is underway and kits will begin shipping within 14 days of order. You can purchase yours using the link below. We are limiting the first round of sales to 30 kits so that we are able to appropriately service each order.

More expensive when compared to AAM manifold. You still have to buy the GTR manifold. If they make the same HP, I'll go with AAM.

I will have the first RJ Manufacturing intake manifold tomorrow or Wednesday depending on the shipping company. I will be putting together a full tutorial on the assembly process and a review of the product. This will be a direct comparison to the GTM Prototype Intake manifold. I can say the RJ Manufacturing unit is already gasket ported which means the runners are going to be big ;) and I am looking forward to having the unit in my hands.

Just to clarify things RJ Manufacturing is Bobby Ralston, AKA- Vortex, VSR, PRS, RJM. Dude I wish you luck on your build and that being said be careful having any dealings with shady @ss bobby. A lot of people on here already know him and its obvious he won't become a vender here because of his bad reputation so he has others post up his crap. Again people not trying to start a S H I T shorm here but know who you are dealing with..
I guarantee you I will make over 800whp without a gtr intake manifold, this has already been proven and na cars will certainly lose power with this conversion..

Again, I will give my review based on the product in hand. I'm sorry your dealings with Bobby were not pleasant and you feel that way. I appreciate your concern in the matter. But to get things back on topic. I agree for NA applications this would not be beneficial. However, in the FI realm the benefits are noticeable and the higher boost applications become reliable. The plastic manifold can only hold so much boost and only handle so much air before you get turbulence in the manifold...

I agree with you on the oem plastic intake limitations but realistically how many pepes would actually shoot for well over whp1000hp.. I have only known or heard of 1 plenum blowing up but again in that instance was Well over 1000whp.. I'm sure it would help in being more efficient but considering the source I think I would order up the gtm intake.. Yes I said it, lol.. I believe cjm (Charles) has made an after market intake as well..

Even worth built heads and higher redline in na set ups

Bullit,
You already have the prototype GTM conversion manifold. Why are u buying the RJM?

Anyone here buying this for NA?

Wow... $2K without even the manifold itself :icon14:

Interested in N/A results :driving:

I'm sure bobby gave him one for free to test. He promised bryan (BBR) the first one but since bryan is now rebuilding my engine due to bobbys motor blowing up on me he's not getting one now. BTW he promised me one as well 6 months ago when he said it was ready... :roflpuke2:
Is it fair to the other venders that he's able to advertise his new products here when the other legit venders have to pay?

Bobby and Bryan's agreement had nothing to do with your motor situation. Please keep that offline as this isn't the place for it. I have talked to both parties and the reason has nothing to do with you or your car.

As far as the manifold being ready... Previously he ran into issues but hey such is the process of creating a product from scratch. He thought he was ready and then found issues. Well now here we are with a finished ready product that should be in my hands in the next day or two. Once I have the intake we can see how well it came out.

370z JT, the reason for the switch is simple. I wanted to go full billet and also wanted a port matched lower manifold along with the fuel rail design bobby has had made. With the radium dampeners in I should be able to run 2000cc injectors on pump gas without issue hopefully.

As for why go a GTR intake manifold over stock on an FI build? Well that's an easy answer... The more efficient your setup the easier your engine makes more power at lower boost levels... I.e. Say I made a 1000hp @24 psi on my current setup. Then I swapped out my intake manifolds but instead of making 1000hp @ 24psi I now make it at 22psi... That efficiency allows me to tune more and gain hp... Meaning by adding tuning we could possibly get 1075hp @ 24psi... This is why you make the switch. If you can afford it go Greddy intake manifold ohh and by the way the boost logic manifold will NOT fit... We have had plenty of discussions with their techs on this.

Damn boost guys again, having all the fun
