He's ok. Nothing out of the ordinary for the business world. Interesting strategy to release pricing but not the dyno figures. I don't buy that they don't even have a prelim figures for a tested prototype.

Either he's gonna win big or this becomes a big joke. I hope for this delivers.

Looks like aam doesn't just hire anybody haha

EzDz 01-21-2016 08:57 PM

The dyno question would be #1. It also looks like a cast oem manifold

JYL 02-03-2016 02:05 PM

Wait for the dyno

ANMVQ 02-16-2016 11:01 AM

Nothing on this yet?

JARblue 02-16-2016 11:10 AM

First batch scheduled in March IIRC

ANMVQ 02-17-2016 11:52 AM

Yea but zero testing before then, How do they expect us to pay 2k for something that may do nothing?

xxZxx 02-17-2016 11:54 AM

It's gotta come out of someone's pockets...why not screw the customers..nothing new..

Yup.

:wtf2:

Elmo370z 02-19-2016 01:01 PM

My question with this manifold, since it works with the stock lower, what if you get crazy with the top end and decide to do the exhaust cam and ported heads with this manifold, will that stock lower be a bottle neck? or could you port match the upper to be the same as the lower?

Engineered from the ground up, this manifold not only looks great in the engine bay, but is capable of supporting 2,500+ hp at over 100psi. It’s a real beauty with benefits. Don’t waste the best years of your car’s life with a factory manifold that doesn’t meet your expectations. Dump the plastic, and use a manifold that’s worth showing off to your friends.

ANY numbers or dyno's yet? Looks like you posted back in January that you would post results?

Lt8Che 02-23-2016 03:35 PM

I kind of want this on my G, but it's pricey.

If all goes as planned, we should have dyno numbers within the next few weeks! We are looking forward to seeing what gains we pull from both N/A and F/I configurations! :driving:

James10694 02-25-2016 10:46 PM

^ Money probably isn't an issue for them.

Money isn't a issue for me but you don't see me running out to buy it...
I just can't see buying a product with 0 results..

There's people buying it to dress up the engine bay who aren't necessarily concerned with actual gains.

No offense to anyone who has done this...But boy is that ever a stupid reason to spend 2k lol

V1H 02-26-2016 12:08 PM

For me, Im hoping for some gains in combi with the AAM TT kit, the bling is added bonus. Fingers crossed i didnt purchase in vain. It really is expensive by any measure

People spend money on hoods, fenders, wheels...all for looks, the only difference here is that i have lift the hood to see it.

your right if you add them up all together but I'd say if someone buys I hood for 2k they are dumb, If you take all my exterior mods yes its above 2K but that's on the outside of the car where I/you can enjoy it every time you look at your car. Unless you plan on install a glass hood or driving around with no hood to spend 2k for looks under the hood you are dumb, IMO

Rusty 02-26-2016 07:47 PM

Unless you're sponsored and do car shows.

Elmo370z 02-27-2016 01:22 AM

I think Na guys won't see much power, it will benefits the forced induction crowd. We need 1 slow to make a manifold for us NA guys. his mani prove to make power

scope22 does not like this.

NorthStyle 03-09-2016 08:18 AM

Any word on the dyno results?

It's no different than paying $5K for a bodykit, $4-8K for a set of wheels, $3K for seats, ect. There's quite a few guys on this forum who have spent more in modifications than what they purchased their car for. Another $2K for a unique show piece is reasonable.

JARblue 03-09-2016 06:20 PM

You're right. I'd spend $$ on a decent looking intake manifold regardless of the performance gains.

This is better than the stock Z engine cover, but it's not that good looking IMNSHO. Certainly not worth $2K purely for aesthetics. Possibly with some performance gains ... that are still TBD ... :ugh:

Elmo370z 03-09-2016 06:59 PM

Still siding with ANMVQ

Maybe I'm the only one that likes to pop her hood once in a while and polish a few knobs if you know what I'm saying

Elmo370z 03-09-2016 09:00 PM

That didn't come out right. Personslly i don't like polishing any knobs not my thing. I rather just make power and go fast.

V1H 03-10-2016 02:03 AM

On a boosted stock motor at least, power gains wont be paramount, limits can be hit either way. But a better flowing manifold will hopefully save half a pound of boost or one for the same power, thus, helping engine longevity. That'd money well spent. And im with scope22, i also like every bolt to be shiny inside out. Needless to say mine isnt a daily driver (600miles/yr)

Hey everyone,

We are happy to announce that we are getting close to receiving our very first production units for performance testing! The manufacturer had requested some small adjustments for the mold, in order to make the casting process more efficient. We made some minor tweaks and they are currently hard at work creating manifolds.

Although we were hoping to complete all testing in early March, the manufacturer required some additional time to implement the mold revisions and ensure top-notch quality. We still aim to have our first finalized manifolds and begin testing by the end of this month, so that we may place a full batch into production shortly after. We will keep you all updated as this process progresses!

Z Runner 03-13-2016 06:05 PM

:hello: It's mid March what's the dillio?

Pictures at list???
