I doubt that. If you've resolved all of the manufacturing problems, how come someone just yesterday received a manifold with a hole in it? :icon14: :shakes head:

If manufacturing issues are solved, I guess it must just be shitty quality control? :wtf2:

I was interested in purchasing an exhaust from AAM. I sent pms from this forum, the370z forum, here website and even through there eBay store. No response! Even sent second emails and still no response. I even called and someone took down my name and number and told me one of the mechanics will return my call never did. I went on to purchase an exhaust from another vendor on this forum. Long story short, they don't care about there customers!

Hey everyone,

I saw someone had mentioned that powder coating should be included in the price. We are offering complimentary black powder coating as an option, at no additional cost. We extended this option to all current customers prior to shipping the new manifolds.

The powder coating process provides a much higher quality, more consistent finish. We have some pictures of the black powder coated manifolds on the product page of our website.

The raw aluminum manifold is only intended as an option for those who plan to give their intake a custom finish of their choosing. It is not meant to be kept bare.

That isn't the point, defects manifest into something bigger over time and if this was GTM you probably be singing a different tune. A spade is a spade.

Dude, recalibrate your sarcasm detector.

The "pin-hole" you are referring to is not a leak-point. It is a through-hole for the hardware which is used to mount the throttle body, and is part of the design. I've attached a few pictures from our product page as reference.

Please see the above post. This is not a leak point, and is part of the manifold design.

Actually looks nice. I would probably buy it if I had the cash. Probably will later on in the year!!

BTW AAM have been helpful and great at communicating with me!

Guys why is everyone being haters? They should be greatful that a company like AAM are going out of their way to continue to make and research into products into our beloved Zs. Why does everyone expect a company to make and release a product that craps out high HP at low cost, the most ideal situations can't always be created, a company can only try to get their as best as possible. Not everything can be perfect, even if there arn't any defects in the product.

Anways waiting on some AAM products myself, hoping it is as good as I hear it is! I have faith in them.

Peace guys...
