I don't post often but I think you're all seriously underestimating how finicky it can be to tune VVEL N/A on a new manifold that has completely different resonance characteristics, flow characteristics, and geometries.

The power will all be in the hands of the tuner if you're N/A.

If you don't get 25+ hp with the new manifold. We will burn you at the stake.

25whp, I wish, but I really doubt it. If it's anything close to that, I'm def in unless it's ridiculously expensive. I would be very happy if some combination of mods could give me +20whp NA throughout the power band. I doubt just a mani will do it, but I hope I am wrong.

^^Stillen exhaust, g3 intake, and tune gained me ~35whp over stock baseline. And that runs close to 3k price wise if all parts are brand new.

So its not untrasonable to pay 3-5k IF this actually does make ~20whp and especially if made from CF also.

Personally I plan to do cams, full 3" true dual exhaust, fuel + air (may come from this new IM). You guys think I'll make good power?

i think that's an understatement... you don't post at all lol.

20+ WHP I'd be in, even if it's 2k in price, reason is that would put most of use in the
350 WHP -360WHP range, being NA and making those WHP numbers would be worth it IMO.

Agreed with the above, Joined 2009= 2 posts :/

are we talking about 20whp+ with other mods or just 20whp+ if it's the only mod.

if it would yield 20whp+ with other mods than 2k is reasonable.

if it's 20whp+ without any other mods, than i wouldn't want it being n/a.

ANMVQ 12-02-2015 07:51 AM

On top of what we are making now, I have the Z1 mani and ported lower (This would replace both ) I'm bolted mins headers( Coming soon) and would want to see at least 20 more than I see now. I know it's nuts but we are all talking nuts. No one knows how well or bad the stock intake mani flows, I still think I really didn't get hat much from the ported lower and the (Z1) but a different design may yield some "real" power,

njobe89 12-02-2015 08:12 AM

a different design could yield more power. i'm surprised more shops haven't tried to test and see if there could a better design to be created for more power. or maybe they have and there is no power to be made, but i am curious to see how this one does.

Big stakes game  ill shoot for 30 on the mani and a solid tune but I wont have a baseline.. getting literally every bolt on at once

Go to my manifold post and find the 350z manifold link, that engineer will be making mine and is being made to be produced

The goal is to gain20+ whp from the mani if you have all supporting mods including long tubes.
