i wish it was dual... i don't like the single exit look. imo, it just doesn't look right with the single exit.

Easy buy two and find someone who can weld titanium... done and done... Just flip the exhaust and remount the hangers :D

For those that have the tomei... What are the decibel levels inside the cabin and how is the drone? Thinking of going single...

Done and Done! lol

The single is more for weight savings than anything, making it dual will still be light, but is just more heavier.

Yeah so my current quad can get to 102db in the cabin on a pull. It also drones a good bit from 2500-3300 rpm in the mid to upper 90's DB rating. So does the Tomei drone in that range on cruising?

i understand it's done to shave weight up. however, i just find the dual more pleasurable to look at.

I think that is the tomei for the 350z installed on a 370z. I don't think the actual 370z one from tomei sticks out that far from the pics I've seen.

I went over 130db at around 25' behind the car on a dyno at around 4k rpm. Maxed it out. Guy tuning the car got out after the baseline and went to the wall and grabbed ear muffs. After the tune he commented quite a few times about how incredibly loud that exhaust is. Never had anyone say they didn't like.

Is that just the y-pipe back? Stock cats?

Japanjay 05-06-2015 08:03 PM

Z1 test pipes, stock headers, tomie y and y-back. This with the gen3's I made 316 Std on a dyno jet.

You can heat wrap the y pipe to quiet it down and you can install the silencer... I am already in talks with someone about making a dual lol that will be interesting.
