Yes, there should also be little blue dots on one side, that is the side that should face out. You will need two of those multilayer metal gaskets (one for each side).

You can see the two gaskets in this picture, also when putting the manifold back in there is a two step torque sequence, should make sure to follow the service manual torque pattern.

I would get them, I did I ported my lower and installing it on May 15th, with before and after dyno runs
