K&N Drop-ins?

Maybe the hp gain is negligible, but MPG-wise, it's alright. I used to get 11-12 days from a tankful; since I dropped a K&N in, I'm getting a full two weeks' worth. I must admit I didn't notice a power gain, but in these times of expensive gas, a couple or three extra days on a tankfull is O.K. with me. BTW, I paid $60.00 for my drop in filter. I guess the $100.00 you spent refer to a "cone-shaped" one.

I could only find them for about $54 each. Where did you get yours from?

You wont notice 4 to 5 hp gains on the butt dyno but do you feel the throttle response is better? Plus when you get the CGE the better flowing intake will help the exhaust too.
