1500 miles is a **** lot. Long drive INC. Luckily petrol is cheap here :P

As far as the pics are concerned, I doubt i have a pic, Ill just attach one found on the net of my exhaust
(i has the carbon fiber one :D not important but i want to throw it out there because they are pretty):happydance:

I believe the V3 ART pipes are not packed with fiberglass actually. That was for previous versions. Call Motordyne to verify, but I remember them posting that at one point.

I had V3 ART pipes with my Berk exhaust (after trying HFCs) and they added a little fartiness as well. It wasn't too noticeable so I drove with it for a couple years then sold em.

NeverBoneStck 01-25-2015 07:51 PM

V3 Art Pipes have no fiberglass. It's the design of the exhaust. Put your stock cats on or get a new exhaust...

Leroydsouza 01-26-2015 12:29 AM

Well since more than 1 person has said its the design,

I am going to change my exhaust most likely. But only after driving this madness for a week to make sure theres no settling in.

My vote for a Motordyne Shockwave since you already have their Art pipe and manifold.

The Motordyne exhaust is not even close to being worth what they are selling it for... Sorry but it's one of the worst exhaust I have ever owned..

Leroydsouza 01-26-2015 01:40 AM

I am debating with myself.Hoping fora reply from Fast intentions

I dont really like to wait so

Fast intentions is apparently the best but i do not have the patience to wait.
I am looking for another exhaust, Deep but not too loud.
Louder than Akrapovic though.

Leroydsouza 01-26-2015 04:13 PM

Funny though..bought akrapovic. Loved it. Bought art pipes hated it. Buying new exhaust..hahahah my logic hahaha

Will be buying fast intention cbe 18" resonators.
Lol 3 months from now ill update this thread haha

You won't regret it. And its worth the wait. It only took 3 weeks for them make my test pipes, maybe it wont take so long for the CBE

Just curious what issues did you have with it? A couple i heard in person sounded very good. It's one I'm considering getting next, currently I have Ark Grip and DT-s

You need to wait for the carbon build up to lessen the rasp. Take about 2 weeks. Just like a rifle

Also intrested in this , leaning towards fast intentions over motordyne atm

I noticed the same thing when I got my art pipe with the nismo exhaust. it's an annoying rasp not a good rasp( at least mine was) hated driving so I started looking into it and basically there is no break in period any more with the new versions. I called tony and he explained that was only on his older models.

so I got an exhaust and it changed it but it's still slightly there just a manageable tone now and I like it.
one thing that could change it tho would be getting a tune because of air fuel ratio being off.
Personally I think a tune is a must after the cats come off.
just what I think

I wish I did

Well guys, Congrats, When i went to sleep last night I decided to get a new exhaust.
I wake up today morning and your comments have put me back to where i started :P

So i have a decision to make before this saturday lol
I have spoken To Kevin from Fast Intentions, I got frustrated waiting for an email and called them.
I am primarily interested in their TT kit and their 7AT upgrade.(He hinted that we would have more info in a week or so)

12 weeks is the approximate for the CBE.I need to make a decision by saturday the latest.
Is there any other exhaust i can buy ? I am not great at waiting and 3 months listening to my fart can + stock exhaust might get tiring.

And i need an exhaust that supports my Twin turbo needs.Apparently my exhaust design is not recommended for turbo and i should go for True Duals.
Is there any other brand you recommend which is also great.
My exhaust needs to sound deep and just loud enough to piss off the guy trying to keep up with me. I dont have any intention of waking my neighbors.
Something deep, For reference reasons read attached sound note

blumblumpshhblumblumpsh and thn i floor it and it goes vhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

If you do not get the reference, Please gimme a alternative to Fast Intentions.
