No prob. Hope that it helps you somewhat.
Quite a bit of people have that side mount. SUV's, other cars, and the such. I dont think that the police really have a big issue as so much as the safety inspection stations. Just need to be really nice to the safety check person. And dont attract too much attention from the cops. 
Other people are using those mounts so, its not like it is an "underground" kind of a thing. Just need to be smart in regards to your driving and find a really friendly person to do your safety checks.
