Group Buy *** BC painted door handles***
 

Have gotten a few request for this so I thought I would put a feeler out here for it.

The Car Cave is offering to do a group buy on Body color painted door handles, will do batches of 5 of the same color or more at a time. Cost, $250 per set,with an additional $125 core charge up front to be returned when stock handles are shipped back to us . In this cost will be complete disassemble of door handles and rebuild so entire door handles are painted (behind handles), rebuild of handles with tap of door handles where rivets use to be and lock tited set screw installed. these are how my handles are done. (see photos below)

I will supply up to 5 sets of cores to begin, this means you can continue to drive your car until painted handles show up. once arrived, you have 2 weeks to ship your factory handles back to The car cave or forfeit of your core charge will happen if not done so. you can skip core charge by shipping your handles a head of time. once 5 are established turn around will be quick.

yes, you can get your handles painted without dis-assembly locally for less, but the job will not be as complete as ours.

Also will paint manifold covers $50 dollars one of the factory body colors. this will require you to ship us yours in advance

the 125 is a core charge, meaning you get it back when we get your stock handles back. if you send your handles (being local might be best way for you) first you can bypass the core charge. the 125 covers the cost of buying a new set of handles shall a person not send there handles in after we send them painted handles.

So is it $125 plus the $125 or $375

$250 for painted handles, a $125 core charge will be required if you choose not to ship your handles prior. the $125 core charge will be returned once we have your handles in our possession.

so $375 up front with $125 to be returned when you ship back the stock handles you replace with the painted ones we sent you.

I can't keep track if you were, But can you please pay the vendor fee so it can continue?

How confident are you that the 40th gray can be matched. I've heard some say it is easy and some that it is difficult. If you think you can do it I'll sign up as the 5th guy for the color to help my brothers and sisters out.

3 of my buddies here in chicago drive 40th, im pretty confident we can get the handles to match.

Oh so you're only doing one color of five? I thought it was any color in sets of 5. I was saying that if you got 4 others that wanted 40th gray I would take the 5th spot to get it done.

Sorry I have been a bit absent this week. Father past away Monday

I am ordering the handles today, as soon as they get in, we will get the Mag Black going

once i receive there cores back we can start on the next color.
