Okay, the discounted pricing is live on the site: STILLEN : STILLEN Generation 3 Ultra Long Tube Dual Intake Kit

Just add "370Z Group Buy" into the notes field if you're ordering online, and specify if you want silver or red for the grounding kit, and we'll take care of it, or you can give us a call (or any of our dealers).

From the product page:

Quote:

You are losing horsepower and torque without STILLEN's new Grounding Kits. Today's engine management systems utilize hundreds of sensors and in some cases over 12 onboard computers that constantly monitor all parameters of the engine and powertrain.

Installing STILLEN's Grounding Kit ensures that sensors and computers are not affected by power surges that can drain performance. This ensures that all wire diameters are optimal for amperage and current travel distance.

These kits feature 8-gauge copper wire, gold plated connectors along with 4-gauge & 8-gauge ring connectors, and are developed specifically for your application. Available in silver or red.

These grounding kits will also improve the shifting on automatic transmission vehicles, and in most cases noticeably improve shift times and reduce lag.
Grounding kits are most felt as cars get a little older, when connections aren't so clean, so by installing them now you won't get that potential horsepower loss, and can make a noticible difference for the guys with automatic transmissions.

Most owners report 2-3mpg increase (if they can keep their foot out of it to hear the improved intake noise).. so it will totally pay for itself! :roflpuke2:

Will probably make the grounding kit install easier, since you'll be pulling the factory intakes off, give you a lot more room.

Lol yeah to help the forum, I was hoping for more of a discount than the current special, I could probly swing it sooner if I save $90 rather than getting the grounding kit I won't use ;)

I'm sure most of the list will still be able to participate. Good luck to all :)

+1 I don't need the grounding kit, I'd rather get $90 off the current special.

Kevin

Ya id take it if we got an extra $90 off and no grounding kit, or id probally do it if I could just take $90 off the price of another part like the light weight pulley. Is that possible?

I'm sure there are others around here who would be happy to compensate you for the grounding kit. It's definitely one of our more popular items, and you're still getting the best price and us picking up the shipping that we've had on this.

:)

atx370z 09-06-2010 11:54 PM

499 + free shipping can't be beat by ANYONE and you guys are still crying that the price isn't low enough.

If you want quality parts you have to pay. If you want a $200 dollar intake... buy a Honda Civic.

370zproject 09-07-2010 01:38 AM

sorry due i dont have enough money ATm maybe when i get a better job Gotta buy new tires >.>

Slynky 09-16-2010 12:11 PM

I guess I should read more often...which means, if I read this correctly, I missed the group buy by one day. Am I correct? (Apparently I was paying too much attention to bay bling and not bay performance...the dress up bolts.) :(

If you literally ordered within the next couple hours, yes. We haven't published the new specials just yet, so the pricing is in tact.

Later today it goes back to normal sale pricing.

ilostmypill 09-17-2010 07:23 PM
