Ok. Send me a picture of mine when it's boxed up ready for shipping and I'll pay the remainder of the balance.

You didn't even buy a pump. Stay out of it. Keep your comments to yourself. You were already warned.

It’s obvious what’s going on. I can say what I want if I think V8 is making the right decision. Pretty sad that people have their blinders on. I have had this happen to me not once but twice. It is what it is.

No it wasn’t.

Now would be a good time to update the thread. I would like to know the difference between refunding now or in 2 weeks, its still a refund. I completely understand if people are seeking other options. If the product is being made, then Jeremiah can still sell them and still come out even, even though v8killer has asked for money back.

There's no obvious of nothing. You're not part of the group buy, so dont add to something you're not a part of. If I wanted to screw people over, I wouldnt come in here, to update, nor would my account be active.

As for the gears, just waiting on them to arrive, everything is ready for them to be installed and shipped out. I'm doing everything on my part right now to get these to you ASAP. I know yall are tired of waiting and frankly I'm tired of yall waiting as well.

Timeline since orders placed, so you understand bigger pic of what I'm dealing with.

Mid November material ordered, 3-5 days to deliver, machining starts on blanks, takes 3 weeks with shipping, so we now are almost 3rd week of December. Machine the actual gears takes 2 weeks roughly, ship for tolerance test/coating(if passed). Guy over this is out due to sickness for a week. He sends them to me to take care of tolerances. I'm in the oil field until January 13th, mom has 1 of 3 strokes on 10th, from the 13th until beginning of March, I've been with my mom every day at the hospital, helping my dad with her. Land a new job, move mid March to start new job in Dallas, now I have the gears with me to do the tolerances to get them straight. Covid hits, shelter in place, cant go anywhere unless you're essential. Get paperwork for essential employment. Get gears in tolerance during my off time. Send for REM finishing, and that's where we are now. As soon as they come in, I'll get them installed and sent out to you guys.

Guys I get it, I know yall are tired, but I will deliver, I'm doing everything i can to try and make the remaining time dealing with this as fast as possible.

Austin, I dont care if you post our conversation. I dont mind being upfront about what's going on, have nothing to hide. But dont act like I'm trying to take advantage of yall and saying you need to be protected. I'm standup and do what I say I'm going to do. That's my code, and has always been that.

My cell is 3183088565, I cant take calls at work, but if you text me, I can answer and give updates faster than getting online.

Again I greatly apologize for this timing, and I know yall tired of me saying this, but I'm not out to hurt anyone in this or cause anymore inconvenience than I already have.

JARblue 04-17-2020 12:00 PM

Thanks for the update Jeremiah. It's an unfortunate situation for everyone. I see light at the end of the tunnel though

V8Killer 04-17-2020 12:46 PM

I posted the conversation to be fully transparent with people that are involved. Your actions and words will dictate what people think about you. Just because I said I have to protect myself as a buyer does not mean I am attacking you in any sort of way, that is in on you with how my response made you feel. I don’t know you personally. The only thing I know about you is that you have a great product that some people don’t mind waiting for. My impression of you went down hill not when you kept delaying the product, not when you were giving minimal or repetitive updates but when you tried to personally pin it on me, a customer, that I would be screwing everyone in here involved on the group buy because I want a refund and have lost confidence in you as a seller. Just because I want a refund for what I perceive as a failed transaction should not hinder you from being able to continue to sell your product to perspective buyers. If one unhappy customer is the downfall for your business model to thrive then quit now. I hope everyone gets their oil pump on time and are happy with the wait and the outcome but I am moving on sir, I wish you the best of luck and look forward to you handling the PayPal issue with myself and others who are seeking a refund.

I am simply responding to his comment about me trying to make him look bad. So I ask you to not worry about a conversation that has nothing to do with you. I’ve said my peace but if there is a response then I will reply again.

Frankly, I can't blame V8. He seems to be in the most compromising position in terms of delays, and if he's made his decision then it's made.

But, if anything, posting the text conversation has reinforced and validated my decision to trust Jeremiah and withdraw my earlier dispute. Looking forward to getting my gears.

 you made it have something to do with everyone participating in the group buy when you posted it up so don't play that game

Hotrodz 04-17-2020 02:20 PM

I have no issue with his last two posts. I simply think he has made his point and further discussion is not warranted. We have all heard his and Jeremiah's story and so enough is enough. People can make their own minds up on what they wish to do.

Not me. Pretty much the exact opposite reaction here. That text had yet another expected completion date in it and it wasn't the one he talked about in here previously. I'll let the dispute keep going with the CC company. I would still rather have the pump than my money back, but I'm getting one or the other for damn sure. I'm done believing the "updates" since each one is just pushing it back yet another couple of weeks. If he actually hits this shipping date I'll happily withdraw it but I'm out of hope, faith and ***** to give about this damn thing and this dude.

Everyone is welcome to their opinion, of course. But the way I read it, the May 4th date sounds exactly like what he said in here.

You tried to nail him down to the week of the 20th and he countered with that week or the following week (the following week ending on May 2). If you want to cut him off at Saturday May 2nd for the 'following week' fine, but stretching it to give him the weekend to package drop off shipments seems perfectly reasonable to me. YMMV.

If it were the first time he gave us a date I'd be flexible. I was supposed to have the oil pump in ****ing 2019. I'm done ****ing around with this. A CC dispute isn't resolved overnight. If he makes good, then I'll drop the dispute, pay the remainder and get my oil pump. That's the best outcome and it's the one I'm hoping for. But I'm going to get the ball rolling on plan B as well. Homie has burnt all of the goodwill and flexibility I've got in me for this.

I'm doing everything to get these finished and out the door starting on the 4th. Again I know yall are tired of waiting, I'm just waiting for the gears to be finished, which should be end of this week. Ship to me (2 days), start installing and shipping out from there.

I definitely understand yalls frustration and concern. I said I would come through and deliver, now I'm just working on making my actions match my words.

I'm 5hrs away from my mom, who is back in the hospital due to another stroke possibilty and I cant be there due to Covid. However, I am still working to get yalls pumps out to you ASAP.

Rapides General, Alexandria, La 3187693000, shes on 4th floor, stroke victim floor.

Guys I'm doing my absolute best with the hand I've been handed. There is light in all this. I'm not going anywhere and I'm going to deliver.

Total D 04-22-2020 05:17 PM

Finishing will be done tomorrow, I should have them back in hand by Friday. Then start sending them out middle of the following week. Finally seeing a light at the end of this tunnel. Again I apologize for the delay, but they arnt long now.

Thanks again everyone.

Why does Total D not share picks of the gears as they are going through the various steps? This is something relatively easy to do so peeps can see everything is moving along.

He did earlier but for me I don't need to them now that we are in the 9th inning getting in hand is the most important thing.

Agreed. However, after all this bull**** I'm holding off on the final payment until I see a picture of an oil pump in a box with my name on it.

Because this is a process that I do not have the capability of doing. I will take a pic and post as soon as I get them back from finishing.

Thanks

Gears are done with finishing. Will have them Tuesday, so should be able to start shipping out to you guys by the weekend.

Thanks again for yalls patience. Means a lot to have customers/friends being supportive, especially with the way this year has been for my family and myself.

Have a great weekend, will update again, when they are in in hand, or if you guys have any questions.
